“Just as rain does not break through a well thatched house, so passion never penetrates a well-developed mind.”
1) Explanation of this one short self-control quote for students in English: –
This self-repression quote was said by Lord Buddha in a sacred book called Dhammapada☸️☸️. We can find a lot of self control story of Buddha. This inspirational quote on self-control is trying to explain about our mind.
If we made the roof of our houses with weak materials like straw, wood or stones then there will be leakage of water because these construction materials do not have the capacity to protect our houses.
On the other hand, if we use concrete roof then we can get full protection for a longer period of time. In the same way, weak mind is easily controlled by illusions. That’s why weak-minded people are short-tempered and can’t make right decisions. It is about a maturity and understanding yourself at the deepest possible level.
It is described as the ability to have a true mastery over yourself. Strong and intelligent minded people are capable of making far more better decisions in their life🧠🧠🧠. So, here you start the moral story of Ramesh and his idea of self-control. It is also about his accent on achievement.
2) Short self control story for kids: –
Once upon a time there was a peaceful village. Ramesh was a young boy who used to live in that village. Ramesh was known for his calm and well-developed mind. His wise grandmother used to tell him, “Just as rain does not break through a well-thatched house, so passion never penetrates a well-developed mind.”
A group of mischievous children tried to tease Ramesh one day. They called him by dirty name and played pranks upon him. They were hoping to make him to lose his temper. But Ramesh remained calm and composed. He did not let their words to affect him.
The naughty children gave up by seeing Ramesh’s unshakable composure, They realized that it was not possible to disturb his peace of mind. It was just like the rain which could not get through a strong thatched roof.
Ramesh’s grandmother’s wisdom was helping him to gain respect in his life. The village children also learned about importance of self control from Ramesh. They all decided to follow Ramesh’s example and live with peaceful hearts in their following days.
3) The example of my experience of a mental self-restraint in real life: –
Dear reader,
Today I will share about what I think about my own experience. I have been involved in practicing meditation since the year 2020. During the period of lockdown, I used to live in a single room for a whole day. I had developed a feeling of depression at that time.
I used to rudely speak with my family especially with my mom. Then, I thought to handle myself and be a better person. I believe it as a fruit of the spirit. My spiritual knowledge has also increased through it.
I have subscribed YouTube channel which provide meditational music. I wake up 6 o’clock in the morning as possible and do at least 30 minutes meditation. Now, I have improved my meditation techniques and learnt to remain calm even in noisy situations. So, I believe that I can guide you on your journey.
For that, you can just repeat those actions which I have been practicing for three years. Having it will help you meet your goals. Once you master it along with a detachment then you will be free from your suffering. Believe me, this is very easy. Thank you!
Self-control is strength. calmness is mastery. you – tymoff
